As someone who depends on my hands to make a living, discovering your fingers going numb after a shooting session is never a pleasant experience. I had tried different string placements, deeper hooks, etc to try and fix it. Thats when I discovered an old thread where someone described a "rule of thumb" of 1mm of tab thickness per 10lbs of draw weight. I was running a Bicaster Barebow tab and discovered it was only 2mm thick.
Decided to order this Yost Tab, as well as the replacement leather set. The Yost tab came in at a healthy 3.5mm thick. I added a second layer of leather from the service kit using some longer screws (8-32x1/4"). My Yost tab now measures 5mm thick and my numbness is totally gone. Took a bit of getting used to, but I find after some trimming its releasing very well. Excited to see how it breaks in.
The markings on the tab are really well defined and I appreciate the machined groove around the outside edge (have heard of people using their nail on this as a sort of psychological clicker). I like that it uses a generic elastic cord for securing to the hand - my old bicaster tab was starting to fray on this component, but used a proprietary part that could not be replaced. Bonus points for easy customization down the road.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking to protect their hands and improve their scores at the same time. True 5 star product here and worth every penny.
Has good quality leather. A bit thinner than some other high quality tabs but good enough when your hand gets used to it. The most valuable feature I found was the bold markings for string walking. Best I have seen. Great for dim light and old eyes.

This without a doubt this is the best 3 under tab, I've ever used. I am buying a second so I have a spare. Highest quality materials and performance.
Shoots well and after a summer of use still as good as new.
Special orders receive top priority and are given prompt attention. While larger items like bows may not always be readily available, many special order items are consistently kept in stock. The general turnaround time for special orders is a minimum of 8 weeks, depending on the lead times set by the manufacturer.
Certain bows, such as custom target bows and high-quality traditional recurve bows, are exclusively made to order directly from the manufacturer.
In some instances, left-handed products like premium target equipment may experience unforeseen delays due to batch production by the manufacturer.
