Matrix Jr (the 48", 54" and the 58") is the bow for young archers, really cheap but complete of all the inserts to install a sight, a stabilizer and a Berger Button. This bow is composed by a lacquer finish riser and black limbs. Available with 3 different lengths and all possible weights.

Lets take a look at the 24" 66-20LBS | 20" 62-22lbs limb.

24" is the riser size, 66 is the total length of the bow, and 20 is the poundage it will be. So this means if you purchase the limb above, it will be rated at 20 lbs, 66 total inches in length if you have the 24" riser. If you have the 20" riser, it will be 62 inches in total length, and 22 lbs of draw weight.

Bow sizing based on archer's height

  • 5'5" or shorter = 66" bow
  • 5'6" to 5'9" = 68" bow
  • 5'10" or taller = 70" bow

Age and Experience guideline

  • 14 years old or younger = poundage should be the as their age. Example 12 years old should be shooting 12# bow.
  • 18 to 14 years old = 16# to 20# depending on body build and height
  • Adult: Beginner = under 20#, Intermediate 22# to 28#, Advanced with experience = 30# and up.
