High strength durable aluminum insert for Victory VAP, VAP TKO, and VAP SS arrows.
Set up and have been using these inserts on a set of 12 Victory Vap arrows for over several hundred shots. I originally glued them into the shafts using Bohning’s Ferr-l Tite Coolflex glue. Big mistake. The insert diameter is quite a bit larger than the shaft and on retrieving arrows from target butts first two days i lost 2 two inserts and field tips likely due to extra resistance on insert due to size difference between arrow shaft and insert. Re-glued all the inserts with a more permanent glue brand and had no further issues. I have now used these inserts successfully across half a dozen different field points and three different company products. I regularly change up point weights (easy **** out/in) and have not had to use any glue to keep points in inserts. A nice bonus if you are shooting micro arrows (.166” ID) in target shooting is getting the extra radius around lines from the substantially larger footprint of the insert over a simple field point glued directly into a .166” ID arrow. Kind of like shooting a light fat arrow. The weight of the inserts gives lots of room to match up the right combination of point weight for jumping between 18 m target shooting to shooting 720 rounds. Well made and great price.
Special orders receive top priority and are given prompt attention. While larger items like bows may not always be readily available, many special order items are consistently kept in stock. The general turnaround time for special orders is a minimum of 8 weeks, depending on the lead times set by the manufacturer.
Certain bows, such as custom target bows and high-quality traditional recurve bows, are exclusively made to order directly from the manufacturer.
In some instances, left-handed products like premium target equipment may experience unforeseen delays due to batch production by the manufacturer.
We strive to meet the deadlines mentioned above and make every effort to do so. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from meeting those deadlines. If such a situation arises, we will make every effort to rectify the issue. Special orders can be canceled or exchanged and are eligible for a refund after 8 weeks.
