To operate this stringer, place the rubber-padded loop on the upper limb and insert the bottom limb's tip into the stringer's sock. Stand on the stringer and gently raise the bow to bend the limbs. Then, cautiously move the top loop of your string onto or off the limb.
I bought this to string my Samick takedown recurve bow and it works really well! It is also sturdy enough to last for a long time and can be cleaned easily if it gets dirty. Insert the string's larger loop down a few inches on the top of the bow, then place the smaller string's loop on the bottom of the bow. Then slide the pocket of the stringer around the bottom of the bow and the stringer's big loop around the top of the bow, where the string is sitting. Then hold the middle part of the bow in front of you with the string under it, aligned with the bow's grooves, put your two feet on the stringer on the ground and pull up on the bow to put tension on the bow just enough to slide the top string's loop around the bow's notch. Make sure the string is properly secured and remove the stringer. Same process in reverse to unstring the bow!
Functional and very simple to use and to store. Easy to put under the feet and the rubber like surface under the loop helps secure the limbs.
