You cant beat the price vs value on this bow, BUT this is an entry level bow and you have to keep it in mind. Great way to start a tradicional recurve journey.
The 35lb Dymond is my latest purchase (Boxing Day) and after getting it home, looking it over and slinging 100+ arrows I am impressed with the bow! So smooth to draw and very quiet. I could easily shoot this bow for a couple hours straight without getting too fatigued.
I wanted a nice looking one piece bow for "plinking" and the Dymond fit the bill and at a very good price point. The fit and finish is VG and the satin dark brown riser/black limbs combo looks amazing.
I'm new to Archery (june/02) but sold on the Sport. My only regret is I didn't start earlier.
As usual, the Staff at CAO were great to deal with. Looking forward to going back soon....
Oak Ridge Dymond 62" Recurve Bow
I bought a 35lb draw left hand bow and it has performed amazingly. It is even more beautiful when you see it in person. Really great craftsmanship too. I primarily use it for target practice at distances of 50ft and up. It's very accurate and handles nicely. The bow comes with a good quality string and nock. It's a great intermediate level bow, but if you are a dedicated beginner, it is a great investment to grow into. I bought the bow in July and have since, been actively practicing well into the fall (currently) and can say after extensive firing/testing it is an amazing bow. At the time of this review, I've noticed higher draw weight options are available. I would definitely consider in the future purchasing their LH 50lb bow for greater challenges and hunting potential. Shout out to Canadian Archery Online for super short delivery time. It was well packed and arrived in mint condition
Very good recurve for the price. Excellent service received.
