Nice, lightweight and quick shooting

Very happy with my new horsebow, it could be more comfortable if the handle section was a bit thicker. Occasional string slap due to the low brace height but easily avoiding by adjusting my hand position

Amazing bow

I purchased this bow just to get back into the swing of shooting again with western style and I wanted to try my hand at thumb draw and horse back in the future.

It's overall all a really fun how. Very snappy, light and the now is just beautiful all around. Highly recommend and the price point is pretty great.

Very nice 👍 Horse Bow

I was looking for a horsebow recurve to try shooting with thumb release I was looking at the Samick at first but came across the Black Sada. CAO was great to deal with but it did take almost 2 months for the bow to be delivered. I was looking at the 55# model as most of the bows in stock were in the 40# range and I wondered about going with the lighter weight but since I normally shoot English longbows in the 70# to 80# range I decided to stick with the 55# model.

When the bow arrived it comes with a bow sock, a D75 string and two nock points. The fit and finish was overall good. I will highlight that the handle is very very narrow (1.1”x 1.2”), as has been identified in previous reviews. So I docked one star as I will have to build the handle up with cork to get a more comfortable grip.

But great looking bows can be disappointing if they don’t shoot well. In this case I can give the Black Sada 5 stars for shooting. Smooth draw with no stack out to 30” for my draw length which measured 59# on the scale. Very smooth release and minimal hand shock. Shoots tight groups for such a compact bow out to 25 yards. I still need to get out and see how the arrows will fly at longer distances but in the backyard it is fun to shoot. Very different from 72” yew longbow but the thumb release adds a fun factor. You can also shoot this bow with a Mediterranean release as well since the draw is so smooth and there is no finger pinch. Alas my chronograph is in for repair but this bow feels faster compared to my longbows that are shooting 800 grain arrows at 190 FPS. Perhaps an update when I can chronograph the speed.

Overall 4.5 stars for a good quality bow for the price point. I just need to build up the grip. Plus I picked up a plastic thumb ring from CAO that saves the thumb. Although I started out with hockey tape in the thumb and as a tip that was a great way to develop the feel for the anchor and release. Now time to try this bow from a horse.

Very good service but not so great bow

My bow had a defect but CAO helped me contact the manufacturer to get it replaced. The bow itself is light which is good but the grip is a bit small for my hand and the vibration at release is quite noticable. I dont like the knot pattern on the grip since they rub against my pinky and make it uncomfortable after an hour.

Great!

I bought this for a mounted archery club and I’m really happy with the product for the price. Wonderfully light and powerful at the 35lb weight. I really like it!

All special orders are treated with priority. Outside of larger items such as bows, many special order items are on a consistent stocking basis. General turn around is 2-4 weeks depending on manufacturer lead times.

Some bows such as custom target bows and top shelf traditional recurve bows are on a made to order basis directly from the manufacturer.

Some left handed products such as high end target equipment can also experience unforseen delays due to manufacturer batch production.

We make every effort to meet the deadlines set above. Sometimes due to issues out of our control we are unable to accomplish this. We will make every effort to remedy the situation if that is the case.
