I got the brass with cordovan leather and yes it was expensive but I think it was well worth it. I followed a YouTube video to loop the elastic through for three fingers and really love the feel. I was having some pain in my fingers when shooting everyday and it stopped with the thicker leather. The good thing is the replacement parts are readily available and you could add another layer if needed.
I got the brass version with cordovan leather. Adjustments can be confusing but by following the instructions manual, some youtube videos and some trial and error, you can get a quality tab that fits you perfectly. On top of that, with replaceable parts and upgradable parts, you can customize it even further. Beware that the finger tab kit does not come with hex keys (SAE sizes) to secure the adjustment screws.
I really like this, glad I bought it. As always arrived quickly and great service. So, I did a bit of research on this, is was designed and built by Kisik Lee who is an Olympic archer and coach. He has a great book on Recurve Olympic archery. I bought the Brass version which most people do, the idea is that the added weight of brass helps stabilize you hand.. I found that true. The other reason for this is that the design helps position your hand and fingers more correctly, unlike other tabs it comes with a small piece that comes down into the palm and again helps position the hand correctly. it comes with the best leather that will last longer as well. unlike other tabs this has adjustable elastic that goes around each of the three fingers, which holds it in position better. I found a difference the first time I used it. If I ever lose this item, i would simply buy another, that is how much I like it.
