Aluminum weight designed for Kinetic Sovren risers.
Purchased this barebow weight for my Sovren after reading another review stating the weight is loose and rattles. Decided to order anyways as I love the form factor and how it makes the bow look less busy. Upon receiving, I can confirm this weight fits poorly and rattles.
That said - I used some adhesive backed gasket material ~1.5mm thick and layered the flat contact surfaces (I imagine some soft side velcro or neoprene might do the same). This not only removed the rattle, it also dropped the vibration in the bow significantly (vs weights in Stab holes).
Really happy with how this worked out, totally changed the bow for the better.
The weight came as advertised but doesn't sit flush with the riser. It shakes and makes a loud noise on every shot like all the bolts are loose. Tightened every bolt to the north of stripping and still rattles around wouldn't recommend.
Special orders receive top priority and are given prompt attention. While larger items like bows may not always be readily available, many special order items are consistently kept in stock. The general turnaround time for special orders is a minimum of 8 weeks, depending on the lead times set by the manufacturer.
Certain bows, such as custom target bows and high-quality traditional recurve bows, are exclusively made to order directly from the manufacturer.
In some instances, left-handed products like premium target equipment may experience unforeseen delays due to batch production by the manufacturer.
