The Wise Choice is a thumb trigger release that shares the geometry with the popular 1st Choice release, but adds an index finger hole to assist with consistent index finger placement. It has all the highly-praised features of the 1st Choice, such as an auto-closing jaw and the set screw tension adjustment system. In addition, the Wise Choice also comes with a removable lanyard to give bowhunters the possibility of clipping the release to the D-loop or their wrist. Available in a 3 and 4 finger configurations.

  • Auto-closing jaw for quick and easy attachment to your d-loop
  • Set Screw tension adjustment system for the most precise trigger tension customization
  • A removable lanyard system to give the option of clipping it on the loop or keeping the Wise Choice on your wrist
  • Hole that accommodates a light glove for hunting

Please note that Carter releases are not colour specific; colour may differ from the photo.

Carter Wise Choice

Great release. A bit pricey, but worth it overall. You can't go wrong with a Carter.

Great release. Smooth and increased my accurate quite a bit. A little bit noisy but other than that it's great. Being a hunter and using it as a hunting release, I like the fact it has a lanyard hole. Would recommend this to any archer both novice and professional.

Wise Choice

I'd give it 5 but the third finger slot just wasn't comfortable for me. I had a Nock2it previously which I had lost and absolutely loved it but when I tried to order another they were out of stock. I decided to try the wise choice as it it basically the same just with the third finger and as I said the third finger didn't jive so cut filed and sanded it down to replicate the nock to it and I love it. I also have the Just-B-Cuz which is curved three finger and much more comfortable to shoot with, but the locking process just isn't as convenient as the Wise Choice or Nock2it. All in all it's a great release and if three fingers is your thing, this is your release.

Lives up to the hype. Very well built and worth the money. It is by far the best release I’ve used and will hopefully help harvest a deer .

All special orders are treated with priority. Outside of larger items such as bows, many special order items are on a consistent stocking basis. General turn around due to pandemic backorders is at least 8 weeks depending on manufacturer lead times.

Some bows such as custom target bows and top shelf traditional recurve bows are on a made to order basis directly from the manufacturer.

Some left handed products such as high end target equipment can also experience unforseen delays due to manufacturer batch production.

We make every effort to meet the deadlines set above. Sometimes due to issues out of our control we are unable to accomplish this. We will make every effort to remedy the situation if that is the case.
