Bought 2 months ago and have been using often. Despite many on-line reviews from other sites noting that the elastic string that comes with the Guard to secure it to one's arm was often to short for a comfortable wear I purchased the product believing I could modify the way the string was set-up. I easily modified the string adding loops to each end that now allow for at least five adjustment settings (photos attached). The modification works perfectly. I love the stiff no wear leather surface (I have already as a new archer in my first year blown through two other lighter fabric guards). When on occasion the bow string hits the arm guard it is much less impeded in its flow than with other fabric style arm guards. One downside I have noticed is that the arm guard end closest to my body can tend to rise off the arm slightly due to its stiffness. If my form is bad and my guard arm is not presented well it has on a few occasions caught between my arm and this rising part of the guard. It happens rarely and I know I am the guilty part of the equation. Otherwise I love this arm guard and I use it several times a week. It gives me the protection I desire with generally good wearability.
I’ve always looked for an arm guard that would protect and stay in place. This is the best guard I’ve found and like it a lot. Stays in place and doesn’t slide or move around. Completely adjustable.
Special orders receive top priority and are given prompt attention. While larger items like bows may not always be readily available, many special order items are consistently kept in stock. The general turnaround time for special orders is a minimum of 8 weeks, depending on the lead times set by the manufacturer.
Certain bows, such as custom target bows and high-quality traditional recurve bows, are exclusively made to order directly from the manufacturer.
In some instances, left-handed products like premium target equipment may experience unforeseen delays due to batch production by the manufacturer.
We strive to meet the deadlines mentioned above and make every effort to do so. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from meeting those deadlines. If such a situation arises, we will make every effort to rectify the issue. Special orders can be canceled or exchanged and are eligible for a refund after 8 weeks.
