Just started archery in early August this year. When setting up my bow I looked on-line for arrow rest recommendations. The Hoyt Super Rest was highly recommended by many leading archers including a former two time silver US Olympian. I installed it on my Hoyt recurve barrow in August and have shot over 2500 arrows in the last two months. No signs of wear and I believe it is delivering the performance I require. Tip - given the inexpensive product price (versus shipping cost) and to never be caught short - order several when you buy this product.
Excellent customer service, love the product. But with exchange rate and high shipping charges it kills us Canadians. Final cost to me was quadruple the cost of a in store shopper.
The Hoyt super rest is basically the best overall rest on the market. Lasts a while and super cheap and easy to replace if you ever need, and works well enough to the point where a good amount of Olympic setups still use these. A more luxury buy like the Shibuya Ultima rest holds up better, but aside from slight performance differences at the top level, you'd have to go through over 10 of these first before the price of the Shibuya becomes a save on costs long-term.
Been using the Super rest for a while now. Basic, but actually works quite well. I keep an extra one in my bag in case the one on my bow becomes too worn.
Can quickly replace on the fly.
Best quick rest on the market.
