For the price, you get a decent sight that gets the job done well enough, but you will want the qualities of more expensive sights eventually. It comes loose quite easily if you don't take any extra steps to keep it secure first, like applying some threadlocker and/or rubber washers. Adjustment with all the **** is somewhat inconvenient but works fine. Doesn't come with its own case so you need to buy your own or repurpose something, and only comes in RH for left handed shooters, you will have to flip the sight so the markings will be upside-down. Overall works fine to start off with, but I would go straight for a higher quality sight if possible.
For serious beginners, this is it! Fully adjustable, dovetail sight at half the price of anything comparable. Adjustment screws are easy to lose if not fully tightened, though.
Thanks
This sight requires a little TLC directly out of the box but nothing extraordinary. Recommend applying oil to aperture pin threads and adjustment knob. When mounting, use rubber washers on connection points between extension and sight bar (the two allen screws and the larger phillips screw) to mitigate the majority of vibration. It seems others find it helpful to use blue loctite on the set screws but I haven't found that necessary after sighting in and testing a couple hundred shots worth. Your mileage will vary depending on how much vibration you have coming through from your riser.
Included aperture is a cheapie plastic deal and elevation adjustment knob is also plastic. The rest is metal. Good enough.
I have a Focus-K sight which I believe is the previous version of this sight. The sight functioning well when I'm in entry level with low poundage. However, when my poundage gets heavier, it starts getting loose more frequently. The screws are quite annoying since they all have the possibility to become loose.
Overall this is an ideal sight for beginners and budget archers, but need to be replaced when you really taking seriously on this sport.
