Great starter horse bow

Picked this up in 30# on a recommendation from Sunny in the store and what a great bow to get you hooked on “horse bows”. Arrow pass is a reasonable size and after 1000+ shots the glued on grip and arrow pass have held up fine. Serving in the string is thin on mine so regular nocks don’t grab but Easton Vectors do and shoot like darts.

Great beginner level horse bow

This bow is fun to shoot. Even at 45#, it is smooth to draw and the snappiness of bow allows for a faster arrow flight. Three finger shooting, mediterranean style, on this bow is fun. However, thumb draw shooting is even more fun.
This is a very good entry level bow for horse bow shooting. The design of the allows up to 32" draw with good stability.
It is a good investment to start on horse bow shooting. I sure don't regret it.

Awesome for Whatever Style

This bow is incredibly snappy. You can shoot three finger or thumb release, no problem. It's a bit tricky to string and you should use a stinger. I got it at 35# and shooting the same arrows as my 35# Ragim Taiga, it throws them much faster. The added sleeve is a nice touch.
The string requires large loops at the end, being a horse bow, so unless you can make them yourself or can find someone who does, I recommend getting an extra string or two at the same time.
I love the 7" brace height compared to the 5 3/4" brace of my Taiga. There is no need to wear an armguard with it.
This bow is my new favorite and is likely going to be my new bird hunting bow replacing the Taiga.
Special thanks to Armin Hirmer at Malta Archery for the excellent review and recommendation.

Great lightweight starter

I ordered this bow last year and have loved it so far. It's lightweight and is super easy to handle. Shoots surprisingly well and on my first attempt I was rubbing arrows at 20 yards. Usually it takes a little while to learn a new bow but I had no problems with this one.

Starter horse bow

I have been doing archery for a long time. After seeing review from Armin Hirmer at Malta Archery, I felt comfortable with this purchase. Would have liked it in 30# at 28 but had to go with 35#. Canada Archery online was straight forward to deal with and delivery was timely. The bow is as advertised and is of very good quality. It shoots well using asiatic style release as well as mediterranean style. I bought a thumb ring at the same time. Learning to shoot this way is a process and no one should expect it to come over night with respect to how much your thumb can handle in the beginning. Otherwise, accuracy comes quickly.

Special orders receive top priority and are given prompt attention. While larger items like bows may not always be readily available, many special order items are consistently kept in stock. The general turnaround time for special orders is a minimum of 8 weeks, depending on the lead times set by the manufacturer.

Certain bows, such as custom target bows and high-quality traditional recurve bows, are exclusively made to order directly from the manufacturer.

In some instances, left-handed products like premium target equipment may experience unforeseen delays due to batch production by the manufacturer.

We strive to meet the deadlines mentioned above and make every effort to do so. However, there may be circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from meeting those deadlines. If such a situation arises, we will make every effort to rectify the issue. Special orders can be canceled or exchanged and are eligible for a refund after 8 weeks.
