The bow hand glove provides protection for the hand that holds the bow. Particularly well suited for archers who shoot bows without a shelf and use their fingers as the shelf. The glove provides coverage for the palm, the back of the hand, as well as the thumb and index finger.
Solved all bruising problems and extremely comfortable, almost as if it was not there! Only (extremely minor) negative point: it is more difficult to slide the sling over the thumb. All in all, I would no longer practice without that glove!

A while back, my bow hand got nicked by the fletching a couple times. When I realized I was starting to flinch and hold the bow from a little too far down, I got the bow glove. Now I position my hand properly without fear :)
