There's nothing to dislike about this bow, it shoots amazingly and is very comfortable to use. Had trouble with the shipping company, but Canada Archery was amazing to deal with the whole time

Very nice bow, a tad heavy

The Sage is probably the most popular bow in this category and price point, and I think for good reason. For one thing, the riser looks great. Online pics don't tend to do it justice, and the finish and colors are quite nice. The inlaid crest is a nice little touch. Most importantly, the bow shoots very well and as most take-downs, tends to punch above its weight compared to one-piece bows of the same poundage (i.e. IMO it shoots faster than similar one-piece bows). The popularity of this bow means that you shouldn't have any issues finding new or used replacement limbs if you ever feel like going up or down in weight (the same can't be said for cheaper options that can be found you know where). Now, the one issue for me is the weight. I'm used to one-piece bows, and compared to those, the Sage is pretty heavy. This may or may not be an issue for you, so it's not a negative in the absolute sense. Another point worth mentioning is this: many youtubers out there compare the Sage to other, cheaper recureve options but often fail to take into consideration that the sage has a) sight bushings b) a plunger hole and c) a stabilizer or fishing reel bushing... So keep that in mind if you're considering another take-down recurve. Anyway, an overall great bow, no regrets from me and I'd recommend without reserve to anyone looking for a 'standard' take-down recurve at a very reasonable price.

Bow is great. My 12 years old really love it. Improved his compound bow target practice
