The signature series Nock on vanes by AAE and John Dudley. The AAE Max Hunter Vane has been trusted by hunters around the world. Whisper quiet but with enough surface area to guide challenging broadheads.
For AAE Max vanes of any type to adhere properly both AAE & John Dudley recommend the AAE MAX Weld Primer Pen
Please clean surface of your arrow prior to installing vanes for proper adhesion.
I used to run factory fletch blazers on my arrows. Changed to these Max Hunter vanes with a right helical and I seen a noticeable improvement in groups and arrow flight. They just seem to fly more true. Definitely recommend these to anyone looking to set up an accurate hunting arrow.
I re-fletched my fmj arrows from straight blazers with no offset to the max hunter vane with right helical, both in 3 vane configuration. My groups tightened up significantly past 40-50 yards, but mostly due to the helical. However I don’t get arrows passing through the max hunter vanes on close shot groups like I did with the blazer vanes. I used the Aae max prep kit wipes, primer pen and glue and have had no issues with vanes sticking to either the fmj aluminum or axis carbon arrows.
All special orders are treated with priority. Outside of larger items such as bows, many special order items are on a consistent stocking basis. General turn around due to pandemic backorders is at least 8 weeks depending on manufacturer lead times.
Some bows such as custom target bows and top shelf traditional recurve bows are on a made to order basis directly from the manufacturer.
Some left handed products such as high end target equipment can also experience unforseen delays due to manufacturer batch production.
We make every effort to meet the deadlines set above. Sometimes due to issues out of our control we are unable to accomplish this. We will make every effort to remedy the situation if that is the case.
