My wife bought this bow a couple years ago at 40 lbs. It was just supposed to be a light training bow for her. The noise level was a bit high at first but it seemed to quiet over the first hundred arrows. So overall for the price it is a very nice bow.
However, it is rated at 40lbs at 28, I measured it at my draw length of 31 because I was curious and it came in at 38.... so not even close to 40 at 28. If you plan to hunt with this bow double check your weight when it arrives. It's accurate and smooth, just check the weight.
Oak Ridge Ash 62" Hybrid Longbow
Like the bow very much. But due to Covid and weather no time to shoot it. Hopefully soon.
Thank-you for asking
Due to right shoulder problem I bought the bow in 25 # .The bow is very good in looking and materials , very light , pretty fast shooting and accurate. Overall close to my Bear Montana . Using Easton Powerflight feather arrows I get tight groups at 20 yards and almost no difference between 500 and 400 spine . I rate this bow 5 stars for quality , craftmanship and price .
Excellent assistance from Gordon at Canada Archery online .
very satisfied customer .
Looks great, very nice grip feel in hand, nice comfortable draw force curve, low hand shock for a longbow, and feels super fast for 45#. Couldn't really ask for anything more or different here. Superb value for money.
