Avalon Tec One Recurve Arrow Rest Ambidextrous
Like others have mentioned, the arm comes loose way too easily. In my case, despite both myself and my coach working on it, the arm would fly off after several shots. Needless to say it made for a frustrating day of shooting, and I ended up having to other another entirely different rest
Doing a budget build, to return to recurve archery. So far it has performed as needed.
After using it for a while I found that the set **** that locks the arm in place comes loose too easily and has caused issues where every few shots the arm would flip out and I would need to set the position and tighten the **** again. Eventually, trying to tighten the **** ended with getting the flimsy included allen key stuck in the set ****, and since the only replacements the pack comes with is an extra adhesive pad and arm, I could no longer use the rest with the key in the way. Using a plastic rest for now, but I would get the Shibuya and save the headache of having to play with the rest every few shots you do.
I've heard good review with this and it does the job but we've had issue with it after start using a 20# bow. It work fine initially before we went up on draw weight. The arm will keep pulling back and won't stay set after every few shots. It could be us plugging, it could be other factor, not sure if we got a faulty one or wear and tear. Even switching to the spare arm doesn't seem to fix the issue.
So this is 1/3 of the price of the Shibuya, if I've to buy a 2nd one of this, I think I would already rather spend the money on the Shibuya that works better.
